Now fifteen years old, the Overthinker vines produce a wine that showcases the depth and complexity that comes from vines forced to dig their roots deep into the soil.  Black cherries, allspice and wet concrete create layers for your nose and tongue to explore.  The wine envelopes the the mouth with silky full tannins, firmly gripping through the finish.  This wine can be enjoyed young with an extended decant, giving the wine some time to open up its many layers.  Wait until 2027 to begin to experience the a greater expression of secondary character, it will continue to develop through 2034. 

Pairings: Roasted Cornish game hen, Beef Wellington, wood fired pizza,  Pilota (Basque region sheep and cow milk cheese).
