67% Grenache, 26% Syrah, 7% Graciano
The classic red fruits of Grenache are grounded by Syrah’s structured tannin and darker flavors of elderberry and black olives. Herbal aromatics collide with hints of oak to conjure the image of sage butter simmering in a pan. Undertones of blueberry, watermelon, iron, and aged balsamic pick up on the mid-palate and carry long into the finish. Drink now through 2029.
Pairings: Sausages and sauerkraut, orecchiette with rapini and sweet sausage, soy-glazed salmon, beef bourguignon, Toscano salami.
