2019 Overthinker

A perfect balance is found between rich, dark pomegranate and cool, wet slate. Overthinker envelopes the mouth with a soft, luxurious texture, as Bartlett pears, blackberries, cucumber and the scent of a roasting pork loin play along your tongue and tickle your olfactory senses. Overthinker is the liquid snapshot of our estate, created each year from the original 2005 plantings that greet our visitors to the property.  Deep and complex, this wine can be enjoyed young with an extended decant or aged through 2030 to further develop the minerality resting below the plush fruit.

Pairings: Roasted Cornish game hen, cumin-spiced grilled eggplant with tabouli, Beef Wellington, Pilota (Basque region sheep and cow milk cheese).
